Aaron Silverman | President
Aaron Silverman is the President, Founder and Owner of SCB Distributors. A 3rd-generation Southern Californian who has always worked in the book business, Aaron attended UCLA, studying economics, computer science and math, and graduated from UC, Santa Cruz, in classical literature. Aaron and his wife and business partner, Molly, established Aaron Blake Publishers in 1984, with a popular series of literary maps. In 1988 they founded SCB Distributors, beginning with one book. Today SCB Distributors is a multi-million dollar private corporation distributing 5,000 titles from almost 200 publishers.

Gabriel Wilmoth | Director of Sales & Marketing
Gabriel Wilmoth was born in Portland, Oregon, and aside from brief stints in Los Angeles, Chicago and Colorado, did most of his growing up in suburban Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1999, summa cum laude with a B.S. in Physical Geography. Gabriel started his career in books as an editorial intern and later Assistant to the Publisher at Hill Street Press in Athens, Georgia, where he worked in publicity, marketing, and sales, learning all aspects of independent publishing. He relocated to Los Angeles to join SCB in the summer of 2003. In 2010, he returned to Portland, where he currently lives with his wife and their two sons.

Molly Maguire | Editor Emeritus
Molly, co-founder of SCB, holds a BA in English and political science from the University of Illinois, and worked toward an MFA at UCLA. A former HS English teacher, she also worked in film development. She and Aaron live in LA, with one daughter and her family living in Boulder, CO, and their younger daughter living ln Glasgow, Scotland.

Victor Duran | General Manager
Born and raised in Los Angeles, he earned his BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University in LA, CA. Victor has worked for SCB for 36 years. In his position as General Manager, he leads data entry, publisher relations and trade show management, among many other responsibilities. An avid sports fan of all LA franchises, including the Dodgers, Lakers, USC football and UCLA basketball, as well as the Oakland Raiders, he also enjoys body surfing, golfing and snow skiing. Victor lives in Long Beach, CA, with his wife, Chrisann, and their daughter, Victoria Catherine.
